How We Implement SDG 17
This post details how we, the Sustainable Business Guide (SBG), implement SDG 17 — the Sustainable Development Goal partnership for the goals. Click here to learn more about SDG 17.
How The SBG Implements SDG 17
The SBG is in the process of developing its first-ever impact report. This is on track to launch at the end of 2023 on the impact page, here. Until then, it’s important to share what the Sustainable Business Guide stands for and is working toward behind the scenes. Sustainable Development Goal 17 is one of the SDGs that directly correlate with the work the SBG does and provides.
How the SBG contributes to a partnership for the goals
The Sustainable Business Guide commits to implement SDG 17 and building on effective partnerships that are rooted in sustainability and the consistency of its progress.
In addition to providing users/the community with information to help more people globally understand sustainability, sustainable lifestyles, and sustainable alternatives, the SBG will continue to work with businesses to encourage and build effective partnerships.
Specifically, this includes resource sharing, providing services to accelerate sustainable reporting, and business-to-business community development as a way to streamline cross-industry and overall sustainability progress.
How the SBG will work toward achieving its commitment to goal 17
- Prioritize partnerships with other businesses/corporations that support the SDGs and can supply documents or initiatives showcasing how these claims are implemented.
- Continuously seek to initiate conversations about the SDGs, sustainable business, and the impacts of business as a way to drive conversation and foster communications/action to new partnerships that support the SDGs.
- Learn from other businesses and seek partnerships that can expose the SBG to learning and using new tools, resources, solutions, and more to achieve sustainable goals.
